My swahili is improving dramatically, ta, and I can write a fluent letter (with the phrase book). The test is when one is lost in a marketplace in kisumu.
Kenya was great, a culture shock..... I got a bit too friendly with the mosquitoes. But that was also because we had to sleep in a national park. I've waded though acid-lake-bed-and-rotting-flamingo-corpse-head, which is the worst smell on earth...... The other girls were vile and bitchy and mean, but I did have a great time! Nearly got arrested by kenyan customs, and had a few hissy fits.....
Apparently there are more obese people in the world than starving people.... isn't that ironically sick?
